Today was absolutely devastating. I’ve never seen so many people in so much pain. At the same time, I’ve never seen our community come together like this to pick each other up. These past few days have been incredibly difficult for all of us, but the sense of family that has emerged is amazing. Emaar you’ve taught us that even the strongest people have their weaknesses. You’ve taught us to never take a single person for granted. Had I known that Thursday would be the last time I would ever talk to you, what would I have said? Just know that you’ve impacted all of us in a way that will never be forgotten. The class of 2014 will never be the same without our president, but you’ll always be a part of our class. Rest in the sweetest peace number 65.

It’s such an understatement to say that our town, our school, and the class of 2014 has suffered a great loss.  It’s so hard to believe that you’re gone.  Tomorrow is going to be hard on all of us.  I can’t even imagine what you must have been going through to drive you to do this, and I think that’s the question on all of our minds today.  None of us saw this coming, you were always the one to brighten everyone’s day with a smile and a hello in the hallway. Rest in peace, Emaar.
